What's happening next in Colonial Park -- next weekend, next month
Next Saturday, June 28, we will be pulling and cutting burdock thistles, and any dames rocket we see. We have hand tools to help get it out. Park in the Root River Steelhead facility on Dominik Drive. We’ll be right over the bridge to Colonial Park.
We're planning to take on burdock and thistles this Saturday. we have shovels and hand tools to make the work easier. Especially if you help. If you bring the kids we'll find a patch of dames rocket for them! It will be a tad cooler in the park; bring your water bottle too.
It's too hot to get serious about buckthorn removal. Let's stick with burdock, and maybe thistles for people with good gloves.
